Process > Process Review & Setup
During Process Review & Setup services are provided on a value added basis

Product review
Often referred to as a DFM/DFT review, process assesses the product for manufacturability and testability (where applicable).

DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
The review assesses component selection, board layout, panel configurations, mechanical assembly, etc. The purpose is to understand the product and identify the most efficient process for the assembly of the product.
 
DFT (Design for Testability)
DFT is a review of the product from a test process perspective. What type of testing is required, how will the unit under test interface to the test equipment? Are there interfacing issues, etc?

Production planning and Quotation
BOM’s are reviewed and validated for accuracy.
Quotes are generated based on allocation of resources and manufacturing requirements.

Component Selection
Components are reviewed for risk assessment, availability and pricing (turn key service only, does not apply to consignment builds).

Parts Procurement
Sources are identified and qualified. Components are ordered on a JIT basis (turn key service only, does not apply to consignment builds).

After-sales Support
After sales support is listed on the SMTC site under same subject heading. Do we want to say something as well? Follow-up?
